Hi there!
My name is Andrea and my family just moved back to our family ranch near Clayton, NM. We used to live in southern New Mexico and while we've adjusted from city to rural life, I've been blogging about our adventures at http://www.redlipsncowchips.wordpress.com
Most of the blog posts have something to do with chickens. It's the first time I've ever had chickens and, so far, these girls are my obsession! I've been stalking this site for a while and finally decided to sign up because I love it that much! If you have a blog, let me know about it and I'd be happy to mention it! Thanks in advance for all your help!!! Here's a pic of our current chicken outfit. I call it Fort Clucks. Right now it houses 5 hens and 3 chicks. They were just moved here 2 days ago. By this winter, we will add about 15 Guinea chicks (assuming they all are delivered alive, brood in their stock tank fairly well, and all don't go wild). If they just don't work out, we do have a plan B, but I won't even jinx myself by talking about it.

Hello neighbor from New Mexico!! What part of southern NM did you come from? We are down here in the south central mountains. Are you enjoying being back in Clayton? Nice up there!

Enjoy being back at the ranch and all your poultry adventures!

Welcome to our flock! :-)

Hi there! We moved to ABQ from San Antonio, TX when I was a teen, then ABQ to Las Cruces when my husband got a promotion. We have been at the ranch in Clayton for a month! Love it up here.

Come on up! The highs are finally in the 90's and lows still in the 60's: perfect to me!
My hubby grew up here and I joke that I've been prepping for the move since every town we've moved to gets smaller and smaller. ;) I honestly am loving it right now.
