I've been checking in with backyard chickens for a year now and finally decided I needed to become a member. I have 5 chickens: an Americana, Cochin, RIR, Barred Rock and a Silkie. I've been enjoying my chickens for about 1 1/2 years and still have so many questions. BYC has been a great resource.
