Hey y’all!! I’m Erika! I started with a couple layers given to my by a neighbor, but a dog got in my coop and killed all but one. So I’m starting fresh with new babies about 8 weeks old! Got some duckies as well glad to be here and thanks in advance for all the help!!

Sorry to say but, the dog will be back unless you figure out ways to stop him.I doubt his owners will be responsible, replace your birds & keep him in their yard.

Welcome to BYC! Unfortunately, lots of things like to eat chicken (and possibly duck). If you haven't already, you should do some research on how to predator-proof your coop and run. Plenty of info here. Good luck.
