Hi from Vancouver Island BC

New chicken owners here! We have 8 production red, PR/barred rock. They're only 5 weeks old and it's so hard not knowing whether they're roo or hen!
I'm worried we will end up with too many roosters and I've become attached to all of them!
Any advice for a new chicken mom would be great!

Welcome to BYC. You might consider setting up a bachelor pad. At about 14 to 20 weeks, the cockerels will start harassing the pullets.
