Brand new to the forum and to raising chickens and ducks. We haven't received our day olds yet, but they are arriving Sept. 3rd - 5 chicks and 2 ducklings. My son ordered them so I am not even sure what kind we are getting.....3 Rhode Island Reds, 1 Wyandotte (?) and a white one.....2 Mallard ducklings...all are supposed to be female. Anyway, my husband is building the 'Palace' and I am working on the brooder. So glad I have found this site and forum! Already learning so much from reading the threads!
