Hi from way too sunny California!

Hi Gary,
Thanks, sure love your area and it must be especially beautiful this year. We always make it up for the Memorial Day garage sales and have camped off and on at Lake Hemet for many years. I don't want to get into it but I am flying "under the radar" down here which I know and understand is frowned upon. Please don't hold it against me. Yes multiple days in the teens is not that unusual, didn't want the forum to think I should have bought "roasters" instead of hens. I have been here for 45 years and have seen from 24 degrees to 124. Tried to shop for heat surviving birds, bought one Easter Egger, 2 Buff Opingtons, a Welsummer and a Rhode Island Red.
How many, what kinds and for how long have you been doing it?
Take care
Lol, I am two weeks in.... 7 chicks, a hugely overbuilt and expensive coop. One each, easter egger, Blue Americauna, Golden Buff, Golden Wyandotte, Brown Leghorn, barred rock and a unknown Meyer meal maker

Garage sale weekend coming soon! I love the fact that as a community we only do yard sales Memorial day and labor day:)

Let me know should you ever have an interest in moving up or buying a second home up here, broker of Forest Realty in Idyllwild here...

Gary
