Got 9 hens yesterday and have 13 eggs already. I think I am really gonna like chickens!!!

What breeds did you get?

I got lucky and got 3 Barred rocks, 2 Rhode Island Reds and 4 Golden sex links. Also bought another coop incase I run into another deal. These girls are habit forming

I'm jealous. Planning to get my first baby chicks in a couple of months and am still finalizing my coop plans. Did you get your gals from Bob's biddies?

I actually found the deal on craigslist. But, I will still get with Bobs for other things I will need now that I have the bug.

Yes it can be very addicting. We started with 2 banty hens back in april and have expanded since we loved them so much! I now also am setting up an incubator to hatch some of my own.
