Looking at getting some birds does anybody know of anybody in the West TN area that sells chicks or hatching eggs? Thanks for any tips on egg laying breeds you can send my way.

If you want egg laying breeds, sex links are good. Round here, we can get sex link hens, pullets and chicks from pretty much any feed store.
You should check out the https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/226276/tennessee/2260 TN thread, and see if there's anyone near you who can give you some tips.
