I'm looking for 2 cold hardy egg laying hens to start my flock. I was thinking Rhode Island Reds? Anyone from wisconsin that might have info on where I could get them before the fall?

You might want to consider 3 birds instead, if you only have 2 and should lose one, you will have to go through an integration process to add a new one. Chickens do better with a flock than being a lonely only.
