New to Poultry, I have 6 chickens and 6 Ducks { 4 male 2 Female } All for the Eggs.....
My Girls { chickens } are just starting to lay eggs.... Still waiting on the ducks .
They are just 17 wks old ...

Welcome to BYC! I'm a chicken person and don't know much about ducks (although I've had a few), but I have to admit that ducklings are the ultimate in cute. What kind of chickens do you have?
 
I have a Pekin, Blue Swedish, Indian runner ,2 Rouen { 1 male one female } my only female !! ducklings are not sexed ! I have to find someone who wants males... my female can not handle ALL the males needs !!! And last but not least.... I think he is a mix but I can't figure him out ... he is crested { feather ball on the head } he is all black with 3 white flight feathers and little white in the crest too ! he is the lil **** in the flock..... always picking on the Blue Swed...some how I will put a stop to it !
 
So I hear :) These are 4 months old... everything I have read,, she will start to lay between 6-8 months old ! ? This is my first venture with chickens and Ducks !
