Hello.. I’m a new member and appreciate having this group.. I have a hen with 13 babies that comes to our yard every day.. I feed them and the hen has been around for a year or so.. Had a rooster but captured him snd took to a farm.. love these chickens but they tear up the mulch which doesn’t make my husband happy..

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
If you want to keep this hen and her chicks, you might want to build a coop and large, secure run to keep them in. If you didn't want the rooster, the cockerel chicks will need to be rehomed when they start coming of age. The only way to keep the chickens out of your gardens is to fence the gardens in or fence the chickens in.

Thank you.. I will get something to fence the chickens in.. can you tell me how to put a picture on here??? I want to show the hen and chicks.. they are so cute..
You can follow the "how-to" guide the Pork provided you but it's pretty simple.
The pictures have to be on the device you are using to access BYC. Then you just click on the blue "Upload a File" button below the next box. This will open up your devices browser. Select the picture you want to attach and wait for it to upload. If you want to attach more than one picture, repeat the above steps. When you are done, at the top of the list of pictures you uploaded will be an option to "Insert every image as a... 'Thumbnail' or 'Full Image'" Click one or the other and all the photos will load.
