Hi! I’m new here, I live in SW Tennessee!

This is my first time having chickens, it all started one month ago and yeah, chicken math is alive and well here! I went to a store and picked up 6 Straight Run Golden Laced Wyandottes that were 3 days old. I’m absolutely loving raising them these past few weeks! They will be 1 month old on the 3rd of April! So then, this last Saturday, I saw someone had 2 GLW 9 month old hens who were laying, obviously I had to have them too! Again on Saturday, I saw a post for a chick I had been looking for, a 4 week old Blue Plymouth Rock pullet. So I was able to get 2, she also insisted I take 2 Colombian Rock chicks as well but, surprise, they’re tiny, maybe 1 week old? So here I am, surrounded by 12 beautiful chickens that I just love to pieces!

Congrats on your new flock! If you end up with some boys (always a risk with straight run particularly), will you be able to keep them?
