They don't need the grit for the crumbles though. I'd stop that, and pull the bedding. They'll be okay.I’ve only given them start and grow crumbles with a little bit of grit

I suppose that could be the culprit , I did have them on paper towels in the beginning. Time to go back. Then I'd pull the bedding as they couldn't have impacted crops from chick crumbles, so they ate something else. Just use paper towels for a day or two.
They should be fine in a few hours once they get whatever it is out of their systems. They sure are cute!I suppose that could be the culprit , I did have them on paper towels in the beginning. Time to go back.

Just sprinkle some crumbles all over an area, and they'll scratch around. They look so funny not just eating what's in front of them until they scratch it.Thank you so much for your advice, I really appreciate it, I’ve been worried sick about them. Bedding is gone, paper towels are down! They’re not happy about not being able to scratch, but everyone is pooping, so I’ll take that as a good sign.
Should I maybe wait until their crops start going down?Just sprinkle some crumbles all over an area, and they'll scratch around. They look so funny not just eating what's in front of them until they scratch it.
As long as they're pooping fine, I would think they'd be going down already and I'd hate to leave chicks with no food. It'll be good for them to get just the plain crumbles back in their crops.Should I maybe wait until their crops start going down?
