I just sighted into backyard chickens for the first time. I’m exited to join the community and used to own 2 Coturnix quail and 2 chickens but one of the quail got killed and the chickens ran away so now I am left with only one quail.

I’m planning on getting ducks but I looked on Craigslist and can’t find and breeders in my area and I’m not sure if ordering ducklings from a hatchery is good and I don’t know how to hatch eggs

The quail got murdered from a raccoon. I actually used to have 3 quails but the third one also got murdered by a raccoons about 3 months ago.

Maybe the raccoon got the chickens also?
