I know the chickens did not get murdered by the raccoon because there was no feather or blood and there was a hole that the chickens dug. This is what I was housing the quails in

yay ducks yes get ducks ducks are awesome
ordering from a hatchery has been good for me - i get females and lots of different breeds. metzer farms is good. it’s pretty hot though this time of year to get them by mail, it’s a risk. i like to order in spring.

I just sighted into backyard chickens for the first time. I’m exited to join the community and used to own 2 Coturnix quail and 2 chickens but one of the quail got killed and the chickens ran away so now I am left with only one quail.

I have this and a small opened bottom chicken tractor that I used for the two quails but then I switched to the two level rabbit hutch
