Hi, I am J. from MA and I have hens and just hatched some chicks and have more in the incubator. We just hatched a sticky chicken who is blind and I am looking for help. We have 9 chickens total and hope to add more because chicken math. I like to weave and garden while building up our homestead.

Hiya, and welcome to BYC! :frow

We adopted a blind pullet that was about 12 weeks old. We used parakeet feeders and waterers that were hooked to the end of her brooder so they were always in the exact same place. I had to hand feed her for a few days, so made "bullets" from mash, egg yolk, and Kaytee Baby Parrot + fat. You maybe can get by without ever having to do this if she can gain weight like the rest of them.

She's now around 8 mos old, eventually gained her sight back, and has been with the flock for so long I've mixed her up with my other black hens. I've got a few too many of those. :)
