Thank you, greetings from Scotland !Welcome to BackYard Chickens. And a Big Hello from Eastern Nebraska!
Thank you for the info, have got the incubator running at 35% h. atm. I am trying to hatch my own eggs this time. They are all Coturnix , I have a mixture of colours so will see how it goes.Howdy, and Welcome to Backyard Chickens.
Happyto have you here with us. Enjoy your time here at BYC!
60% Rh is too high for the incubation period. If they are Coturnix eggs, they should be incubated at 30%Rh, if they are Bobwhite or other 'new world' quail eggs they should be incubated at 40 to 45% Rh.
The final 3 days of the incubation process, you should have the humidity level at 50 to 60%Rh. Coturnix do better at 50%Rh.
Good luck.with your hatch.
