(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I hope to start with 8 hens but need to get my set-up ready first and learn as much as possible
(3) What breeds do you have? I am not sure yet which dual purpose breeds I will choose.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Meat and eggs that have not been chemically treated or raised.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I love to camp and do light hiking/bike riding. I was an avid equestrian but had to give it up recently due to arthritis.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I am retired from the university system of GA. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. My partner and I live on a 30 acre farm and absolutely love it.
