Hi, I am new here.

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

If you are trying to mix a chick in with adult birds, you will have to wait until the chick is at least 3 months of age, sturdy enough to defend and survive any bullying from grown birds and has its wits about it. All mixing needs to be done slowly from a cage or other wired off area. Allow birds to see but not touch for about 2 weeks. After which you can let the new bird mix. There will be jostling and aggression. Intervene if it really goes bad. Put out extra food and water stations so the new bird can get sustenance, the older birds will try and guard food and water.

Good luck with your flock and welcome to ours!
