Welcome to BYC!!Hi, I have about 40 chickens. I am from the PNW. My family & I have an Aracauna rooster who is really sweet, but protective of his flock. We also have a jungle fowl rooster who is 7 or 8 years old. I am here to learn more about chickens.
My husband incubated chicks in our incubator so we ended up with too many chickens.
Originally we started out with 12. 10 hens and 2 roosters. Now we have 40...
We have 10 Easter Egger hens, 3 Biefenhelder hens ( I think I spelled that right?) and easter egger × aracauna 6 cockerals and 9 pullets that are about 3 to 5 months old. We also have three, 6 week old chicks in our grow out pen.
For the 1 to 2 week olds we have: 4 Dominant Copper pullets & 5 blue easter egger pullets. And 1 Easter egger pullet that hatched ourselves.
