I have 12 hens and a rooster. I getting two eggs a day. The chickens are R I reds . I got 6 geese eggs in the incubator and they been there about 10 days . I don't understand why my egg production is so low but the enjoyment I get watching them makes up for it. My wife and I look forward to the enjoyment having these birds will bring. Hi and thanks for asking , My birds are youngsters just starting well 11 are, one has had her first molt.I am getting a couple of deformed eggs too with supper thin shells. I added orysters to the mix and I save the shells of the eggs I eat then crush them and process then back the birds. frankly i am a little disappointed but I am hoping it will turn around.
