(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes, I got two chicks during the spring break, one male one female, sadly what seemed to be the female died after a week but the male is still going well. (I believe, I really need to check in with the vet sometimes though.)
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Only 1
(3) What breeds do you have?
To be honest I don't know, my parents got home with two chicks and nine quails one day and I didn't ask many questions.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I don't raise my chick in the backyard but instead a brooder made from a hamster cage.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I like art and I am learning to code.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a really bad history with pets because of my limited research, but that was 5 years ago and I am looking forward to change my old habits.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found BYC when I first started doing research on my quails, so about 3-4 weeks ago. I wanted to join the community because I wanted the best life for my new pets and everyone seems pretty friendly so why not?
