Where do i begin?

Decide on how many you will have are they free range or cooped? If cooped decide on size and location of coop about 4sq' per adult chicken +or- is a save bet

So you need 24-32sq' witch would be a 6x4 or 8x4 size can be any dimension that gets you the sq' you need if plan to have them for eggs you'll need nesting boxes also I have 1 per chicken but I heard that they may not use them all and pick the ones they like. You will need a way to clean coop (door) also a small door for them to get in make sure you have good ventilation and predator proof from snakes or raccoons ect.
