I was wondering if i could keep a turkey hen with chicken hens? Anticipating thanksgiving. Not sure if i could really eat it. But i haven't read anything about this so i thought i's ask the experts.

I think the problem with raising turkeys with chickens, is the chickens can be carriers of Blackhead disease which is very bad for turkeys. I don't know how likely it is for a chicken to carry it but it is a possibility.

I've always raised my chickens with turkeys and have never has an issues. You should be fine keeping them together as long as they have plenty of space, clean water, and their coop is kept sanitary.
