Yes, I have looked for some nasty little mites and all, none to be found. I just noticed today that He has some feather's growing in the bald place's but slowly. I didn't hatch them from egg's, I got them as pullets from a breeder. Age wise hatched in late June early July. I got them the 6 of July; 6 total but, lost one of the lavender chicks a few days later. The others all made it with My Runty roo being the one missing so many feather's. Hoping that this is a good sign that He may not freeze this winter. I live in Oregon but, winter does get really cold out here.
I will pick up some wormer and do them all.. If I could give him a high protein diet I would but, that means me placing him some were else alone, I was told being alone is a bad idea. So, will see if this works by upping the food amount with more protein based food for them all and hope he gets more of what he needs.. I was also told he may have been under a lot of stress. I watch them 2 or 3 times a day and with a bigger pen the picking has stopped. Thanks for the help, hope that your chick starts growing back some feather's as well..
