Hi! I just got 2 "spent" rescue hens

Greetings! I am new to chickens, and 3 weeks ago, after spending all summer building a lovely little pink henhouse, we adopted 2 sweet "spent" hens. They are black, and their names are Peaches & Mildred. I found myself often looking at this forum for advice, and realized I should join! Nice to meet you all.

Lovely of you to adopt some older hens. You just may discover you love having chickens so much, you'll want to add some more chicks come springtime (it happens)! Better think about enlarging your coop and run... just saying.
