Hi I live in Northern California and joined before getting chics

My best friend turned me on to this group because we both love chickens and I’m getting ready to raise them again. I think it’s going to be awesome having this group for extra support and ideas.
I live in Citrus Heights and the majority of my neighbors are chicken friendly and tolerant.
I’m a married, retired nurse and am a senior caregiver to senior cat and dog. I love birds especially Hummers who I feed daily and have a few resident squirrels who think I raise vegetables for them. Working on that issue. I love the outdoors and feel blessed to have time to enjoy it now.
