Hi, i raise geese

Hi I'm having trouble with my Chinese goose. She won't stand, she is about a year old. I got niacin for her, is there another way to introduce it to her other than in her water? How soon should she be trying to walk ?

Hi, Debi. Welcome to posting. What treat does she like to eat the most? Try incorporating the niacin in it and giving it to her that way.

She was brought to me as a rescue of sorts. She had been left in a pen with other ducks n geese basically to fend for themselves. She was found on the back porch of some nice folks who refused to give her back (all the other birds were gone) I took her in and she has been doing great..until last night when she stopped walking. She is not like my other geese, she loves pets and follows you everywhere. The others pick on her so she gets to hang out with me, instead of the rest of the flock. She is in my room where I can watch her. Is there anything a vet could do? I'd gladly take her in..she is eating and drinking and pooping..other than not walking she seems fine.

Welcome Debi, I'm sorry your goose isn't doing too well.
I would make a post in the emergency forum, along with pictures, background, diet, and anything else that seems relevant.
