Hi! I received 3 chicks for Christmas

We live in South Florida so I’m concerned about the heat. They are still inside under a heating lamp at 75 degrees and almost ready for the coup
Then unplug the heat lamp.
They grow fast. Is your coop ready?

Did you want them or were they a surprise?

No they are fine now under the heat lamp - it’s perfect. I meant when they are ready to go into the coop outside in the Florida heat. Yes I wanted them!
I thought you were worried about the temperature now.
Given enough shade and ventilation, most breeds should be fine.
If they are very cold hardy breeds they could suffer. What are they?
