I am new to chickens, I have wanted to have some for over 20 years and now I will finally get the chance!
I am incubating 26 at the moment, have 13 days to go, so Im getting excited.

I live in N. Virginia, married have 4 grown daughters, 4 grandchildren, 2 parakeets, 2 doves, 5 dogs, 6 alpacas and Im not sure how many chicks will hatch.

I hope to meet you all, become friends and learn a lot about chickens from you all.

WELCOME! You'll find tons of good info here and lots of friendly folks.

Hope you have a great hatch - just be smart and know when to turn the bator OFF, unlike myself who always seems to have another batch in there...

I got my chickens too after wanting them all my life and they have been such a blessing and fun family hobby!

We are glad to have you!! I would have to agree with Arlee453, know when to say "NO". My bator's have been running since January
