Just a quick note to introduce myself. My name is Renae, you'll find a list of my hobbies on my info page and as stated previously, I look forward to sharing info and learning new stuff with everyone. I've raised both chickens and ducks as well as a number of other animals including other types of birds. I'm starting off in the coop forums. I'd like a "Carolina Coops" coop but mine may be DIY'd with the help of a local craftsman who can help me integrate some of their ideas (they build beautiful--and huge--coops).

Hi! Welcome to BYC! A great place for learning more about these awesome birds!

Welcome to BYC, Renae! I love their designs, but like @DobieLover I prefer a walkin coop. Tonya, @DobieLover has converted a shed and her photos of it are beautiful, so I'll request that she posts some pictures for you to see.
Sure...

Large run with 1/2" HC walls and predator apron with solid, pitched roof and wood chips for substrate and lots of 'stuff' for the flock to perch on and scratch around. They also like to dust bathe in here:

The whole thing is set inside 1/3 acre pen surrounded by electrified poultry netting powered with a 10,000 volt charger.
