Welcome to Backyard Chickens. This is a great place to explore and hang out. Wow good luck if they are feral. Maybe feed them in a small place?

Good suggestion, but the yard they are in is someone that the rest of us avoid....there is a 2 month old and a maybe month old that hang here and I thought about trying to raise them.I would think they best way would be to find a nest and incubate the eggs. Grow the chicks up in a environment thats enclosed rather than locking up some adults that have spent their lives free ranging.
Howdy,and Welcome to Backyard Chickens.

Hi , Thanks for replying! I'm in Hawaii and feral chickens are everywhere and considered a nuisance. People dump them in large unpopulated areas and I just read that there is a business that will capture and "remove" unwanted chickens from your yard
The feral chickens here tend to be from the illegal cockfighting that goes on. It's very sad....
Thank you! I'm going to need lots of luck apparently.Hello and welcome to BYC!Glad you joined.
Good luck on your adoption mission!
That is true. I was hoping to let them continue to free range because they only go between the two yards.I would think they best way would be to find a nest and incubate the eggs. Maybe provide some safe nesting areas in your yard in hopes they will lay thereGood suggestion, but the yard they are in is someone that the rest of us avoid....there is a 2 month old and a maybe month old that hang here and I thought about trying to raise them.
