I have 2 nesting boxes, but I think I need to make it seem more hidden without feeling closed in.Maybe provide some safe nesting areas in your yard in hopes they will lay there

I would think they best way would be to find a nest and incubate the eggs. Grow the chicks up in a environment thats enclosed rather than locking up some adults that have spent their lives free ranging.

Hi and thanks!Kulakat, big howdy for N E Alabama. I agree with Chookwagn 100%, it would be the easiest way to go. That way you'll have no crazy adult birds to tend with.
Thanks! I'm not ready to incubate and hatch chicks. I've never had chickens before and that is terrifying at this point, LOLI bet too that would very likely be the easiest way you can imprint on them soon after they hatch!![]()
