Hello everyone, I am, as you might have seen on the subject, a newbie on the site. I decided I needed some input occasionally on some things every once in a while and thought, what better way then a chicken forum? And so here I am, I'll tell you a little about myself and my feathered minions.
I have had chickens ever since I was a little kid. Lets just say fate decreed that I should have chickens, and there was nothing my dad could do about it. I have been around my feathered friends for quite a while. Right now my flock numbers 12, a motly crew of 1 silver seabright hen, 4 black silkies, 2 blue silkies, 2 rhode island red hens, 2 barred rocks, and 1 light brahma. As far as my hobbies go, art is the thing. I really should make some sketches of my chickens, they are willing enough. Oh yes, and the rest of the crew includes, 1 dog, some number of fish, 3 guinea pigs, 2 horses, and 2 cats.
