Hello,
I live in Australia - I am married with 2 boys, 1 dog, 1 bird, 1 Axolotl, 1 feeder fish, 4 chooks (chickens) & 2 ducklings. We love our animals heaps - they are all part of the family.
Our 4 chooks are white leghorns, they are roughly 4mths old. We have raised them from day olds. We have raised two other groups of chooks as well but they have passed on now. We have got chooks as pets rather than egg producing animals
If we don't get eggs we don't care we just love having chooks roaming around the backyard and I love having gardening companions that love eating spiders
We have just purchased 2 ducklings from the local fodder store two weeks ago. We have never had ducks before so I'm hoping to get some tips from other people. We are not 100% sure on the breed of the ducks
but hopefully someone can help us.
I found out about this site as I was searching for info re: ducks and came across this forum that had heaps of information so I decided that I would like to become a member.
