I didn't want chickens, but my husband talked me into getting a few. Now I am hatching my own. 27 in the incubator. I think I went a bit overboard. Can't wait to chat with all of you lovely people about chickens.

Definitely loads of enablers here. I came here for advice on 3 chicks I rescued 4 months ago. Then I rescued 11 more, and then I ordered 10 chicks so I can get some layers.... here we call it chicken math

Hi Angie and welcome to BYC - your admission of chicken addiction, rather than being the first step in kicking the habit, is actually your first step in feeding it here at BYC. Please make yourself at home with us.

You may wish to consider joining your state thread as it will put you in touch with other BYC members in your area - https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/270925/find-your-states-thread#post_3239224

All the best
