Hi all,

Thank you for letting me join the community! I'm very new to raising chickens. I started with 4 about 3 months ago. They are about 4 months old now. Sadly, a fox snatched up 3 of the 4 this afternoon. I'm here to learn more about chickens and better ways to keep them happy and safe.

I'd love to raise chickens as pets and for eggs.

As far as predators you really need to think like them. What kind of coop did you have them outside in?
