I am 50 this year 50!!!! where does it go>> 12 months ago (4/14) r lass and i decided (ok so i surprised her..she got to like em') on four hens [domestics from an egg producer ] then it was five and number six is being reared right now, at my place of work. a place i love to be Monday to Friday where i support adults with "special needs" [my mates]. My hobbies are gardening, DIY/ woodwork, reading, and our hens, Now just guess .......go on just guess what i do at work with my mates ..yes you got it i do "gardening, DIY/ woodwork, and look after there hens, Crackin' job it is....

Glad you could join the flock!! Great to hear your lass has come round to the idea of hens and that you get to work with them too. A very rewarding job you have there working with special needs adults. I used to work at a riding for the disabled riding school. The horses brought a lot to the life's of the adults I worked with there.

So glad you could join our community!! Yes, 50 is a good age to get back into chickens! Chickens help to keep your BP down and help you live longer too. I mean you have to stick around to care for all your babies!!
