I have 3 Road Island Reds and I think I'm getting fertilized eggs from them. No I do not have a rooster. My aunt say's I can get fertilized eggs from them. Just wanted some else opinion...

If you only have hens and there is no rooster around then the eggs will all be infertile. The only time you will get fertile eggs is if there is a rooster present. A hen cannot fertilize her own eggs.

Welcome from Southern Oregon! Ummm your aunt is wrong. No rooster = no fertile eggs. It is required as he is the one who fertilizes the eggs.
