Hi, short introduction, My name is Heather, I am a wife and mom of 4. We live in NH and we just bought our first home back in October. It came with a nice fenced in area and a chicken coop which was all we needed come spring to start incubating chicks and duckies and begin our little farm. We ended up with 13 Rhode Island reds and 6 Pekin ducklings. My daughter who is 11 hatched and raised them and everyone pitches in. Since then we have enjoyed them so much so we just picked up 4 more chicks, Leghorns, and 4 more ducklings, somewhat unsure of their types at the moment :) Excited to get on here and talk all things chicken and duck, as I have been coming to this blog all along for any info needed to get to where we are now!! … that wasn't so short now was it :clap
