I found this place cuz I was looking up a lot of questions about ducks and this was usually the website that popped up so I decided to make an account so I can ask on here for more easier answers and it being easier to ask questions I own one ducks right now his name is pine-tar he's a mix between a black runner duck and a Oregon malerd duck I had a white runner duck her name was meadow but a cayoty got her last year here is pine-tar hope to get as many questions answered

Hello Joshua and welcome to this wonderful informative site. I have several types of ducks and love them all. I have 20 ducks right now but will have to rehome some of my ducklings if they are drakes. Is your lone duck a drake or a hen? I just got two Runner Ducklings 4 weeks ago and are enjoying them.

Hi ! Welcome to BYC pine tar is a handsome drake! . I am so glad you were getting more ducks soon because yeah they really need other ducks to be happy truly happy… since he’s a drake it’s best to get at least 3 to 5 female ducks to live with him if you can . Whenever there are too many boys, and not enough girls sometimes the boys accidentally kill the girls by over mating them.
