I'm on New Zealand and have just two beautiful red hens! We love them to bits, they are very spoilt and they lay really well so we are thinking of adding to our small flock soon.

Only 2 oh my that will never do you must get more! I also keep a small flock of 8 they are special and calming for me to watch. They are also more intelligent than we ever imagined chicken could be. Best of luck in your adventures and welcome to BYC!

Hi Leanne, Aussie here. I have only 4 chicks and one is definitely a rooster (which aren't allowed on our suburban block) so down to three soon . I am impatient to get some eggs but wonder how many friends I can find to get rid of eggs from five chooks if I get another two. So, trying to behave, for now. Enjoy your time here. We are a friendly and helpful lot.
