Hi I'm Lee - Just Here to keep an idea on stuff.

Hello Lee, Welcome, its nice to learn more about you through this Short Bio, are your chickens laying yet, or are you eagerly and anxiously awaiting "First Egg Day!....? best feeling of accomplishment right there' good luck!
We have had our gals for around 3 years, and are all happy and laying good eggs.

We do want to get more chicks this year to have us have a sort of genoration thing going, alas with everything we might just wait to give some chickens a good home later in the year.

Apologizes on the late likes, been busy getting the massive garden plans ready for the season.

I know a few here wanted to see my chickens so here is a few.

And this is Abbey, a spoiled rotten dirt bike sounding gal who digs, taught all the other girls how to dig, and probably is a top chicken in the order.

Lover her to bits but when we redo the run we have to plan how to stop her trying to dig herway out.
Thank you for sharing! Your hens are gorgeous and quite the characters! :)

They are beautiful and look so healthy. I have an Abby as well...she is a barred rock.

oh thats good to hear, how bout roosters? do yu have any that are ferilizing the eggs so that you can hatch your own when the time is right for you folks?
We did have some roosters but they were not ideal for siring young. We are talking about getting fertile eggs or just getting chicks we know are female. I personally rather do the chick route but that may be hard given the current situation of things.

oh ok, I understand, do you have a source for the fertile eggs, maybe barter for them locally?
