This is Twitch, we think she doesn't lay eggs as unlike everyone else we haven't seen her nesting. She starts trouble alot.

Gizmo who considera herself the head chicken. No one listens to her despite being so loud.

And this is Abbey, a spoiled rotten dirt bike sounding gal who digs, taught all the other girls how to dig, and probably is a top chicken in the order.

Lover her to bits but when we redo the run we have to plan how to stop her trying to dig herway out.

Hello! Call me Lee, or my username (which is based off one of our chickens), I'm here just to learn and get better ideas to make my chickens happy.

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Been like 2 years since we finally bit the bullet and got chicks. We learned alot over the 2 years, and being the second summer I figured some ideas from others would help me keep my gals good and happy.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Techinally 9, but Abbey out tiny chicken is more of pet, thought honestly they all pets at this point.

(3) What breeds do you have?
My partner probably knows that answer, but they are all round and fluffy and pretty happy.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Being able to help others with eggs, I guess that sounds weird, but if someone needs eggs its good to know I can give them 2 dozen and still be okay. I personally just like helping others.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I am a wannabe artist, I love drawing animals, plants, and fun things like that. I honestly work in the digital media, but I am wanting to get back into physical media. Its just not the same.

Also learning to be a small handy man to keep the house going. Its honestly nice to do a task and see the reward of 'oh shoot i fixed that'!

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My own family is a loaded question, but I live with my partner and their parents. I'm currently unemployed, got laid off so that sucked.

But on the upside I get to spend more time home with my family, my pet cats, and of course, the chickens.
Hello Lee, Welcome, its nice to learn more about you through this Short Bio, are your chickens laying yet, or are you eagerly and anxiously awaiting "First Egg Day!....? best feeling of accomplishment right there' good luck!
