So my fiancee Richard and I have decided that we wanted a backyard flock. It started with a trip to "Rural King"about a year ago. We kicked around the idea, but decided to wait a while since I was pregnant with baby number 6. We already had 6 cats, and a dog. But last week, he told me to go pick up 5 Silver Laced Wyandotte chicks. I beleive I have 3 pullets and 2 cockrels, but I'm not sure. I need a lot of advice and I have never even used a forum before. So please forgive me if I post things in the wrong areas. I'm a slow learner when it comes to computers...please forgive me! And help me with my new little babies! I named 3 of them already and waiting for name input from the kids. So far The cockrells names are Robot, and Hahn. One of the pullets is name Cricket cause she sounds similar to one.
