In the Brooder
I don't have any chickens yet. My husband, Doug, and I moved to the Dells last fall and my Mom moved in with us. She has always wanted chickens and we finally have space for them. I've been lurking about the site and decided to join so I can ask questions and learn more so we get started on the right foot. We're looking forward to fresh eggs, but we both love critters, too. We have 3 dogs and 4 cats. All rescues.
My husband, Doug, is very handy, and loves working on projects around our property. He won't admit it, but he loves all the critters, too.
When we aren't outdoors, Mom and I are in our sewing room quilting, or curled up reading books.
