Hi I'm new from Iowa

Hi! My name is Christina and I just started raising chickens 3 months ago. I have 4 12 week old chicken. 2 Australorp pullets 1 bantam pullet and 1 bantam roo who was sold as a pullet but it's ok I love him anyway. I moved to a small town in Iowa 6 months ago, before that I lived in Tampa florida for most of my life.

Glad to see another Iowan. I am from Des Moines. I haven't got my chicks yet buy I have been hatching eggs with my class (I am a kindergarten teacher) the past couple years and I will be keeping some of them next May! Been working on my coop this summer. Good luck and welcome.

Welcome neighbor. I'm from Indianola. I live south of town on 2.5 acres, have 12 chickens. 8 different breeds. Love them. This is a great site. You'll learn alot.
