Hi I'm new here & a new backyard chicken owner

I'm in need of advise and help. I rescued 6 hens that I was told are 1 year old & still lay eggs, but I've had them 2 weeks and they haven't layed any eggs at all. I give them the food they've been on, and I just know if they're not getting enough sun, or if it's the move? Any advice or help I can get would be great.

Sounds like they are stressed. You will get eggs soon (unless they are really older than you were told). Make sure you give them yummy treats often so they will start to be relaxed. Good luck and happy eggs!

Moving is extremely stressful to chickens and they often stop laying till they feel secure again.

Stress, such as relocation, can cause an interruption in laying.
