Hi, I'm new here from Texas

Friends and family call me Ra. I have been raising chickens for several years with my wife, Laura, and our three grandsons. We live seven miles from Hallsville, Texas--way out in the country, on 20 acres.
We have black Jersey Giants--a rooster and seven hens. A week or so ago I discovered Back-Yard Chickens, and really like it!
