Hi, I have no chickens yet. I have been interested in backyard chickens for about a year now. The idea of having fresh healthy eggs right at home is what appeals to me. I live in a suburb outside of NYC and I know my town allows backyard chickens. I have been to a local byc seminar to try to become more educated on both the pros and cons. I ran into a woman who had 7 chickens and she told me about this website and suggested I join. She said I would learn all I need to know about byc on here. I'm excited to learn how to be a byc owner. Thank you for letting me join!
